So I call the site All Things Dead because I work with very old images. With a few exceptions most of the folks in the images are long gone.
Adding color can really give new perspective to the old photos. Sometimes I can look up what color certain things would have been but in most cases I have to guess. I do all of the work in Adobe Photoshop. All painting is done on my MacBook Pro track-pad. Each color gets its own layer. Those layers are then blended to produce the results you will see below.
These are just a few images to get things started. I've got to spend some time getting this site together.
